HOSHKEE FILM if founded by Armenian Actress, Writer, Director and Producer Armine Anda. Interested in development and production of artistic fiction and animated films, as well as in content for children & youth, HOSHKEE FILM is open for co-production worldwide.

The company made three co-productions, two animations among them, and a feature fiction film- JOAN AND THE VOICES by Mikayel Vatinyan, in partnership with Sweden (developed within EAVE). The film premiered in Busan IFF, having its European premiere in Goteborg IFF.

The company’s recent short fiction CROSSING THE BLUE by Victoria Aleksanyan, an Armenia/Netherlands co-production, confirmed 25+ selections, receiving 7 awards, BEST ACTRESS thrice (Armine Anda), BEST DEBUT (Victoria Aleksanyan), BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY (Leigh Lisbao Underwood), among them.

The company’s recent short animation- THE SONG OF FLYING LEAVES by Armine Anda, an Armenia/Iran co-production, confirmed 100+ selections receiving 25 awards, the ARMENIAN NATIONAL FILM ACADEMY “ANAHIT” AWARD as “Best Animated Film”, among them.

In the Armenian language Hoshkee means an oak-tree. It speaks of the hope to have roots that go deep into the earth, and leaves to go up into the sky.
